Solar lamp post

So for this project, I used a chandelier that I bought @ a thrift store for a couple of dollars, 5 solar lights from walmart, a pot that I thought would make an exellent base, thick piece of pvc pipe, a round piece of thick plastic I had laying around outside. First I made the hole in the bottom of the pot to fit the pvc pipe through, then glued the pvc pipe to the round hard plastic base and glued the pot to the base as well. Then I took the chandelier apart and made it work upside down to fit the solar lights into after gutting it . I had my husband cut the solar lights down so they would fit on the chandelier and glued those into place. Once everything was put together I sprayed the entire thing with a hammered copper finish, because I though it would be totally pretty. In the picture I had just finished spray painting it, sorry about seeing the garbage cans. And incase your wondering my father stacks would around our property as a fence. So yes! We have tons of wood. lol
